Anti-covid measures and protocols

American School of Murcia is and will continue to be a small school, with a single group of students per course and a small number of students per Group. Thus, American School of Murcia guarantees better safety and prevention conditions than other schools with more groups per course and/or more students per classroom.

  • It has the necessary equipment to take the temperature without contact of both students and professionals when accessing the campus. However, following the recommendation of the Spanish Association of Pediatrics-AEP, the temperature will not be taken when entering the American School of Murcia campus, but families will be asked to sign the commitment that they will monitor the child and will not go to school if you have a fever or any of the other symptoms associated with COVID-19.
  • American School of Murcia will provide masks to its workers, and will have bottles of hydroalcoholic solution in each classroom or space, with the obligation to use it upon entry and exit.
  • Within each classroom stable groupings will be defined.
  • Daily disinfection of facilities and materials used during the day.
  • Independent outdoor spaces for recreation, leisure and work have been delimited for each age group, respecting the instructions on safety distance at all times.
  • Routines and activities have been adjusted so that, whenever possible, they can be carried out in the outdoor spaces on campus, in the area assigned to each group.
  • Independent routes into and out of the center have been designed for each group of students, using very clear signage.
  • The use of masks will be mandatory, during the school day, for both students, teachers and professionals at the center.
